This Floating Pet Fur Filter collects excess pet hair and lint from your clothing and apparel into the net. Toss it in the washer and it floats on right on top. It effectively removes pet hair from sticking on your clothing, making them fresh to wear. It's reusable for 1,000 loads of wash. We recommend to buy 5 or more for higher-capacity washers (larger than 7kg).

Grooming is more than aesthetics — regular brushing, nail trimming, and coat care are essential for your pet's health. Grooming sessions also provide an opportunity to check for skin issues, lumps, or parasites before they become serious problems.
Short-coated dogs benefit from weekly brushing. Long-coated breeds may need daily brushing to prevent matting. Nails should be trimmed every 3-4 weeks. Ears should be checked weekly and cleaned as needed to prevent infection.
The floating action works best in front-loading machines. In top-loaders with agitators, the roller gets caught in the agitator cycle and may not float freely. It can still collect some hair, but efficiency drops significantly. For top-loaders, use two rollers to improve coverage and reposition them each cycle.
After each wash cycle, pull the hair-filled net away from the mesh frame and peel the hair clump off like a lint sheet — it usually comes away in one piece when dried briefly. Rinse the net under running water and squeeze dry. Do not use scissors to cut away tangled fur as this will damage the mesh.
It removes fur that floats loose in the water. Hair already embedded in wool weave (pressed in from sitting) often requires pre-treatment with a dry lint roller or rubber brush before washing. The floating collector works on hair that releases during agitation — not on fiber-embedded fur.
The mesh net loses elasticity after heavy use, and the frame can warp slightly after hundreds of cycles. Signs of degradation: hair passing through the mesh rather than collecting, the roller sinking rather than floating, or the frame cracking. At that point, replace the unit — it is designed as a long-term but finite tool.
Short fine cat hair is the hardest type to capture because it does not clump and floats more diffusely. The roller captures it less reliably than long dog fur. For heavy short-hair shedders like Siamese or Burmese cats, use 3+ rollers per load and wash pet items separately from human clothing for best results.
Color is cosmetic only — both versions are identical in construction and capacity. Choose based on preference. If you are buying multiple units for a large capacity washer, the different colors help you identify each unit after the wash cycle.
